10.19.15

Lectio: Lk 12.35-38

Meditatio: “Gird your loins and light your lamps and be like servants who await their master’s return from a wedding, ready to open immediately when he comes and knocks.” Lk 12. 35-36

Oratio: O God, Your Son urged us to be vigilant and especially as to those things which pertain to eternal life. Pray to be ready as good servants and night and day be vigilant as to the things which are important to life for that is where are focus and effort should be and that is how we please Jesus while helping ourselves.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what  God speaks to you,

Operation: reflect: "Gird...light....ready....open immediately”; s good servant is always watchful for his master and ready to serve him. Seek the grace to ever vigilant for the Lord and readily serve Him for that is the best way of showing our gratitude to Him who has done so much for us

Tomorrow's reading:Lk 13.1-9
