Lectio: Lk 14.15-24                                                                                                            

Meditatio: “He replied to him, ‘A man gave a great dinner to which he invited many, When the time came he dispatched his servants to say to those invited, ‘Come, everything is now ready’.”
 Lk 14.16-17
                                                            
Oratio: O God, Jesus told a parable about a man giving a great dinner to which many were invited and when is was ready,  many made excuses of why they could not come. It was a foretelling of the rejection of Israel of His way to salvation for them. Pray to allow God to  be God and accept His will in all things in the way He presents them and not in the way we want,  for therein lies our way to the kingdom.
                                                    
I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what  God speaks to you,

Operation: reflect: "great dinner....invited many”; Jesus invite to the Israelites to the heavenly banquet was rejected by them for Jesus did not fit the role of Messiah they had expected..Seek the grace to be always open to God’s plans and His ways and how He wishes to reach out to us for therein lies wisdom and what is best for us.
