11.21.15

 Lectio::Jn 18.33b-37

 Meditatio: “So Pilate said to him, ‘Then you are a king?’ Jesus answered, ‘You say I am a king. For this I was born and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth, Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice’.” Jn 18.37-38

 Oratio: O God, during Jesus’ passion the truth of His identity would become known for He admitted before Pilate that He is a King.  In retrospect Jesus’ passion became not His end but the beginning of His entering into His glory. Pray to always acknowledge Jesus as King and do so by joining in tomorrow’s celebration of Christ, the King.

Contemplatio: Spend some time with today's text and see how the Lord is speaking to you.

Operatio: reflect: "Pilate...you...king...I am”; Jesus, Himself, confirmed that He is a King. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Son of Man coming on a cloud to establish His kingdom, a kingdom that will never be destroyed. Seek the grace to always be faithful to Jesus, our King, and show it in our works so that one day we may be part of His kingdom forever.

Tomorrow's reading:Lk 21.1-4
