Lectio: :Mt 4.18-22                                    

Meditatio: "He called them, and immediately they left their boat and their father and followed him.” Mt 4. 21c-22

Oratio: O God, when Your Son came into the world,  He called certain people to help Him in His ministry of salvation. Those He called left everything, their work, their family and followed Him. Pray that whatever the Lord asks of me in this life, I made do willingly and without hesitation.

Contemplatio: Spend some time with today's text and see how the Lord is speaking to you.

Operatio: reflect: "called....left...boat....father....followed”; Jesus called helpers when He first came and they responded immediately to His calling. Seek the grace to immediately respond to and to do the Lord’s bidding in this life for that is the certain way to His kingdom which He so much wants for all of us.
