Lectio: Lk 15.1-10
Meditatio: “but the Pharisees and scribes began to complain, saying, 'This man welcomes sinners and eats with them'." Lk 15.2
Oratio: O God, the religious elite complained that Your Son welcomed and ate with sinners; but Your Son made it clear it was for just such as these that He came. Pray to always realize how we are greatly benefitted that Jesus mission for sinners and how precious we are in His sight.
Operatio:
reflect: "complain...welcomes sinners..eats"; Jesus wonderfully was not
detoured from His mission by the so called religious leaders. Seek the
grace to reform your life for that is Jesus' expectation of us and our
well being and destiny.
