Lectio: Lk 21.29-33                      

Meditatio: "When their buds burst open, you see for yourselves and know that summer is now near.”Lk 21.30            

Oratio: O God, Your Son predicted the end of time and His coming in glory. And He told signs of it so we will recognize it.  Pray that we will recognize the end and rejoice and not panic for it is meant to usher in a state of permanent happiness where peace, love and joy prevail.

Contemplatio: Spend some time with today's text and see how the Lord is speaking to you.

Operatio: reflect: "buds burst...know...summer...near”; Jesus made it clear that the end of time will be preceded by signs that are as obvious as the signs of nature that summer is near. Seek the grace to live in hope and not in fear of the end for it is meant for out everlasting good.
