11.06.15

 Lectio: Lk 16.9-15

Meditatio: “No servant can serve two masters. He will either hate one and love the other ;or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Lk 16.13

Oratio: O God, You desire our service but Your Son made it clear a divided heart will not do. Pray that You alone do I worship, You alone do I serve so love and devotion may always characterize my relationship with You.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what  God speaks to you,

Operatio: reflect: "No....serve two....hate.one...love...other”; God alone should we serve and God alone should be our love. Seek the grace to keep the right focus on objects and persons and the grace to serve God always and love Him with our whole heart, our whole soul, and our whole strength for that should always be foremost in our relationship with Him and then to love others as we love ourselves including other things.

 Tomorrow's reading: MK 12.38-44
