11.15.15

 Lectio: Lk 18.35-43

Meditatio: “What do you want me to do for you? He replied, ‘Lord, please let me see.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Have sight, your faith has saved you’.” Lk 18.41-42

Oratio: O God, a blind man recognized Jesus as the Messiah while many with sight did not. Pray that I may recognize Jesus in those who are in need for He is there and my reaching out to them is in fact Jesus reaching out for me.
I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what  God speaks to you,

Operatio: reflect: let...see...have sight”; what a faith the blind man had in Jesus! And Jesus in returned gave him his sight. Seek the grace to recognize Jesus in suffering humanity for He is there and He will be grateful for whatever you do for Him.
 Tomorrow's reading: Lk 19.1-10
