Lectio - Lk 16.19-31

Medidatio: “Then Abraham said, "If they will not listen to Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded by someone should rise from the dead." Lk 16.31

Oratio: "O God, you have revealed the way to you.

I remember Jesus told the parable of the rich man and Lazarus to vividly remind us you gave us Moses and the prophets for our guidance and by reflection the greatest prophet, your Son.

Grant that I may follow the law and the prophets by loving you, others, and self and I will find you.

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Today I will reach out to someone who needs to be treated kindly.

Note: Tomorrow’s selection is from Lk 21.33-43, 45-46
