Lectio - Lk 22.14-23.56

Meditatio: “He replied to him, ‘Amen, I say to you, this day you will be with me in paradise.” Lk 23. 43

Oratio: "O God, you desire a sinners return and freely forgive.

I remember as Jesus hung on the cross, He forgave the criminal hanging there beside him simply because the ‘good thief’ asked him..

Grant that I may imitate You as Your child and freely forgive others whether they ask for it or not.

I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen.”

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Today, I will silently forgive anyone who hurts me.

Note: Tomorrow’s selection is from Jn 2.1-11
