HEALTH CARE REFORM IN PRESENT FORM IS UNACCEPTABLE

The latest version of the Health Care Reform unveiled by President Obama on March 3rd should be voted against by the Congress. Despite claims to the contrary it will allow federal funding for abortion something that has never been done before.

The strategy is for the House to approve the Senate version exactly as it is. Send it to the President for his signature; and then to use the budget reconciliation process to clean up most of what the House objects. In this two step process there will be no way in which the issue of federal funding for abortion will be satisfactorily addressed.

What can you do? Since the process to be used is reconciliation, the key place to stop it now in the House. Then in the Senate. The National Right to Life Organization has web page which tells you how to contact your congressman and 2 Senators.
