2.10.15

Lectio:  Mk 7.14-23

Meditatio: "Nothing that enters one from outside can defile that person, but the things that come out from within are what defiles.” Mk 7.15

Oratio: O God, You so desire a clean heart and not simply clean hands or clean food.
I remember Jesus made this clear when he proclaimed that nothing that comes into a person’ stomach defiles but what comes from one’s heart defiles. In prayer seek to be a person of integrity and to be upright in the eyes of the Lord and that will go well for us and those whose lives we touch.I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You  and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what
 God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect:"things...within...defiles”; our  conduct is based on choices we make and the good or evil that results all come from our inward posture. Seek the grace to have a humble and loving heart so that our actions may always reflect Christ’s presence within us.

Tomorrow's reading:.Mk 7.24-0
