2.15.15

 Lectio: M k 8.11-13

Meditatio: "The Pharisees came forward and began to argue with him, seeking from him a sign form heaven to test him.” Mk 1.11

Oratio: O God, what patience You have with us!

I remember the religious leaders demanded a sign from Jesus even though they were aware of the many miracles He had already worked. Jesus simply sighed at their request knowing it was made out the hardness of their heart and to simply test Him.  In prayer thank God for revealing so clearly that Jesus is His Son and sent to us by Him so that all who believe may have eternal life.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what
 God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect:"Pharisees....seeking...sign”; the religious leaders should have been the first to accept the miracles that Jesus had worked to back up His authority but thy did not. Seek the grace to b open to whatever God wishes to reveal and how He wishes to reveal it, for it is for our good,

 Tomorrow's reading:Mk 8.14-21
