Lectio:   LK 11.29-32                                         
                  
 Meditatio: “Just as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of Man be to this generation,: Lk 11.30

 Oratio: O God, You know our desire for certainty especially in matters that defy scientific proof.

I remember the Jewish people desired that Jesus give them a sign of His origin but He responded that the only sign He would give was the sign of Jonah which was not his miraculous saving by a fish but his powerful preaching that led to their conversion. In prayer readily accept what Jesus taught and revealed for He did so our salvation.                                                          

 I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
 and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

 Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what 
 God is saying to you.

 Operatio: reflect:"Jonah...sign...so....Son of Man:”; preaching that moves one to repent and return to God is a powerful sign that the preacher is commissioned by God to preach. Seek the grace to be open to the preachings that are given by those who are ordained to preach for therein lies the road to our desired destiny
