2.14.15

 Lectio: Mk 1. 40-45

Meditatio: "Moved with pity he stretched out his hand, touched him, and said to him, ‘I do will it. Be made clean’.” Mk 1.41

Oratio: O God, what power You have and Your Son has.

I remember Jesus by a simple touch and simply saying:”I do will it” cured the incurable of His day. He cured a leper. In prayer thank God for being so compassionate and for taking pity on us in our need..

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what
 God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect:"touched....will it....clean”; O, the power of touch. Jesus’ touch cured the hopeless. Seek the grace to realize the power of our own touch for it conveys compassion and love without a word being spoken and it has a great effect on the human condition

 Tomorrow's reading:Mk 8.11-13

P.S. Happy Valentine’s Day.
