2.19.15

 Lectio: Mt 9.14-15

Meditatio: "But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Heavenly Father forgive you." Mt 9.15

Oratio: O God, it is mercy that You desire from us.

I remember Your Son made it very clear that if we want His Father's mercy, we must extend mercy to those who have offended us. In prayer let the core of who we are be a person of mercy.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what
 God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect:"forgive...Father forgive you"; seek the grace to be always merciful and you will experience the Father's mercy, pressed down and overflowing for that is His response to
His children who imitate Him.

 Tomorrow's reading: Lk 5.27-32
