Lectio: Jn 28.16-20

Meditatio: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Father,  and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." Jn 28.19

Oratio: O God, before You Son left this earth, He provided so well for us.

I remember Jesus gave His disciples the great commission to spread the Good News, gather followers from all over the world and baptize them, that is, make them Your children. In prayer thank God for loving us so and granting us such a close relationship.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what
God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect: "Go...make disciples..baptizing"; Jesus granted us the greatest of gifts - baptism so that we would become His brothers and sisters.  In prayer seek a grateful heart and love one another as Jesus, our brother, loves us.
