5.13.14
Lectio: Jn 15.9-17
Meditatio: “As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love.” Jn 15.8
Oratio: "O God, how wonderful and how joyful that we are loved by You.
I remember the Jesus, Himself, declared that He loves us just as You love Him and that we will always remain in that love if we simply keep His commandments to love. Seek the grace to love selflessly those whose lives I touch so that I will always be graced with Your love
I ask these and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what.
God is saying to you
Operatio: “Father loves... love you:” Jesus knew He was going to die and He wanted His followers to know a most wonderful gift - they would be loved always if they loved others in return. This offer of Jesus extends to all believers down through the ages and what a great gift it is.. Pray for a loving heart for Jesus’s sake and but most all that the gift of God’s love will always shine upon us.
Tomorrow's reading: Jn 13.16-20
Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!
