Lk 10:38-42

Meditatio:" The Lord said to her in reply, 'Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things. There is need of only one thing. Mary has chosen the better parent and it will not be taken from her." Lk 10:41-42

Oratio: O God, You so want us to get our priorities right.
I remember Your Son gave us such good direction in the beautiful encounter if Him with Martha.
She was attentive to His human needs, while Mary was attentive to what He had to say.
Grant that I may always seek the needs of others placing their needs in right order - their spiritual needs first while not neglecting their temporal needs.

Operatio: "reflect on Martha; she was a true friend of Jesus and she is a model fro us to address the temporal needs of others and with Jesus' help, to do so without getting upset.
