8.11.15

Lectio: Mt 18.15-20
Meditatio: “Amen, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Mt 1818

Oratio: O God, You are so kind and merciful for You provided a remedy for our weakness and sinfulness giving Your disciples the power to forgive sins. Pray to avoid sin and if you have the misfortune to commit sin, get to confession as soon as possible so that your friendship with God may be restored.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what  God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect: “you bind...bound...heaven..loose....loosed”; the power to forgive sins was given to the disciples and through them to the disciples of Jesus throughout the ages. Seek the grace to confess regularly;and as soon as possible if you commit a mortal sin,  for God so much wants you to be with Him in friendship forever and He has provided a sure remedy for our mistakes.

Tomorrow's reading: Mt 18.21-19.1
