8.31.15

Lectio Lk 4.31-37                                                                                                                      

Meditatio: “Jesus rebuked him and said, ‘Be quiet! Come out of him!’ Then the demon threw the man down in front of them and came out of hm without doing any harm.” Lk 4.35

Oratio: O God, what power Your Son has! By His word alone the Spirits obeyed Him. Pray that whatever torments me, to always turn to Jesus for His help and no evil spirit will have any authority over me..

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what  God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect:”Jesus...rebuked....came out”;  Jesus spoke and an unclean spirit came out a man possessed. Seek the grace to always put your trust in Jesus for He has the power and He will use it to protect us from the devil.
