8.25.15

Lectio  Mt 23.27-32

Meditatio: “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. You are like whitewashed tombs, which appear beautiful on the outside, but inside are full of dead men’s bones.” Mt 23.27

Oratio: O God, Your Son made it very clear what a hypocrite is - two faced - what you see is not what you get.  Pray to be a person of integrity and strive to always be righteous..

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what  God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect: “Woe...hypocrites....beautiful...outside...inside....dead men’s bones”; What you are on the inside is what you should be reflected on the outside. Seek the grace to be a selfless lover and be reflected in how you act and what you do, for that is what God so much wants of us.                                                       .
Tomorrow's reading:Mt 24.42-51
