Lectio Lk 4.38-44                                                                                                                                 

Meditatio: At sunset, all who had people sick with various diseases brought them to him. He laid his hands on each of them and cured them.” Lk 4.40

Oratio: O God, Your Son showed the power of touch! Pray that we know the power of touch and be sure to touch those whose lives we cherish for it is a powerful expression of love.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what  God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect:”people sick...cured them”;  Jesus cured people by laying His hands upon them and we do the same in anointing the sick. Seek the grace to use the power of our touch to communicate our love and our help to those in need and Jesus will be greatly pleased.
