3.15.12

Lectio: Hos 14.2-10

Meditatio: "I [God] will be like the dew of Israel, he shall blossom like the lily.” Hos 14.6a
Oratio: "O God, Your words of old echo even in our days and they are spirit and truth.
I remember You prophet Hosea said of You that You would be like the dew for Israel and Israel will blossom.

Grant that I may realize Your presence and rejoice each every day that on our Altars Your Spirit descends on our gifts like the dewfall.

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Reflect: "dewfall”; vital moisture for parched land; and the Spirit is vital for parched souls; in prayer thank the Holy Spirit for his presence not only on our altars every day, but in our daily lives to light, to guard, to rule, to guide us.

Tomorrow's reading: Hos 6.1-6
