Lectio: Dt 26.16-19
Meditatio: “Today you are making this agreement with the Lord: he is to be your God and you are to walk in his ways and observe his statutes, commandments and decrees, and to hearken to his voice.” Dt 26.17

Oratio: ""O God, You so want us to be Yours and You made a solemn promise to us as to how we will be Yours.

I remember Moses declared that the covenant You made - was simply this - You will be ours if we walk in Your ways - Your Son summed up Your ways in the ways of love.

Grant that with Your grace I may always keep Your commandments and hearken to Your voice for I so much want to be Yours.

I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever.
Amen.”

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Operatio : Reflect on "hearken;” listen; hear; voice of Christ; the voice of His vicar, the Pope; the voice God speaks to us in meditation. In prayer ask for the grace to abide by the Law of Love which sums up all the commandments found in the laws and the prophets for I so much want to please You.
