Lectio: Mi 7.14-15, 18-20

Meditatio: “And will again have compassion on us, treading underfoot our guilt. You cast into the depths of the sea all our sins.” Mi 7.19

Oratio: ""O God, You are so kind and merciful even when we turn against You through sin.

I remember Micah, Your prophet, told us You not only will forgive us but our sins will no longer be remembered for they will be cast into the depths of the sea.
Grant that I may ever rejoice in Your kindness and mercy and be forever grateful for such a great and loving God.

I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever.
Amen.”

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Operatio : Reflect on "sin”; an offense against God, a wrongful thought, word or deed; deserving of eternal punishment; But God forgives and forgets. In prayer seek the grace to sin no more and to avoid the near occasion of sins.

Tomorrow's readings: Ex 20.1-17
