3.27.12

Lectio: Dn 3.14-20, 91-92,95
Meditatio: “Nebuchadnezzar exclaimed, ‘Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who sent his angel to deliver his servants that trusted in him, they disobeyed the royal command and yielded their bodies rather than serve or worship any god, except their own God.” Dn 3.94

Oratio: "O God, You are all-powerful and You want us to trust in You for our sake.
I remember three of Your servants in the time of Daniel were cast into a fiery furnace because they refused to worship another god and You rescued them from certain death - Wow!

Grant that I may always trust in You and allow You to determine the outcome of my trust.

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Reflect: "trust”; a confidence in another; reliance; God is all-trustworthy and alla-knowing; in prayer thank God for my many blessings and for the grace to always trust in His Divine Providence. .

Tomorrow's reading: Gn 17.3-9
