3.19.12

3.19.12

Lectio: Ez 47.1-9, 12

Meditatio: “Along both banks of the river, fruit trees of every kind shall grow; their leaves shall never fade, nor their fruit fail. Every month they shall bear fruit, for they shall be watered by the flow from the sanctuary. The fruit shall serve as food and their leaves as medicine.” Ez 47.12

Oratio: "O God, You are the source of all good and the source of all graces.
I remember through Your servant Ezekiel saw Your goodness in a vision resulting in a river flowing from the sanctuary of the Temple and providing food and medicine for all throughout the year.

Grant that I may see the graces flowing from Your Son in the tabernacle as the source of eternal life for all who partake of His sacraments.

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Reflect: "grace” ; favor of God, God’s help; 7 sacraments; symbols embedded in our church carpet; river of grace depicted there, too. In prayer thank God for the many, many graces He has bestowed on me and continues to do so.

Tomorrow's reading: Is 49.8-15
