Lectio: Mt 6.7-15

Meditatio: "Give us today our daily bread." Mt 6.11

Oratio: "O God, You want us to turn to You in our need and You have provided a sure way.!

I remember Your Son taught His disciples the ‘Our Father’ as the form of prayer that we should use in our daily turning to You and calling upon You.



Grant that I may follow the pattern of this prayer daily to praise You and to seek Your help.

I ask these and all things through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with the

Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: reflect on "daily bread"; our material needs; our present ones; our future ones; the Eucharist; in prayer thank God for being our Father to us and let us daily turn to Him knowing as Our Father He will give us what we truly need as His children.
