Lectio ::Jn 8.51-59

Meditatio: ""Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever keeps my word will never see death." Jn 8.51

Oratio: "O God, You have given us a clear path back to You - Your Son.

I remember Jesus proclaimed that if we keep His word, we will have life.

Grant that I may ever rejoice in the fact that Your Son’s words have been preserved for us by His church and may I learn of His words and keep them.

I ask these and all things through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with the

Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Reflect on "never see death"; eternal life; Jesus is the ‘Life’; belief with an active response to one’s belief in Jesus; in prayer thank Jesus for sharing with us His victory over death so that eternal life with God and our loved ones is a now a reality.
