11.13.12
Lectio: Ti 3.1-7

Meditatio: "not because of any righteous deeds we had done but because of his mercy, he saved us through the bath of rebirth and renewal by the holy Spirit." Ti 3.5

Oratio: "O God, how kind and merciful You are!

I remember Your Son saved us through baptism and the giving to us the Spirit.

Grant that I may live in accordance with my baptismal dignity - as a faithful and loving child of Yours- as that is the best way of saying thanks!
I ask these and all things through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: reflect on "bath of rebirth"; baptism, become a child of God through the power of the Holy Spirit; in prayer thank Jesus for giving us a way back to the Father and ask for the grace to be ever grateful of the great dignity bestowed by baptism and live in accordance with it.

Tomorrow's reading: Phlm 7-20
