11.06.12

Lectio: Phil 2.12-18
Meditatio: "Do everything without grumbling or questioning." Phil 2.14

Oratio: "O God, You are the Potter we are the clay.

I remember Paul told the Phillipians that they should do all things without grumbling because it is You who are doing the prompting.

Grant that I may give wholeheartedly allegiance to Your word knowing You are watching over us with loving care.
I ask these and all things through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: reflect on "grumbling"; dissenting without respect; in prayer thank God for watching over us with His loving care and for the grace to carry out His promptings.

Tomorrow's reading: Phil 3.3-8a
