11.29.12
Lectio: Rom 10.9-18

Meditatio: "for if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Rm 10.9

Oratio: "O God, You planned a wonderful destiny for those who believe in Your Son.

I remember Your apostle, Paul, proclaimed to the Romans that those who believe in Your Son that He has been raised from the dead by You, will be saved - what a great reward for so little on our part!
Grant that I may always believe the basic kerygma that Christ has died, Christ has risen, that Christ will come again for Jesus himself proclaimed that He is the resurrection and the life and that all who believe in Him even though they die shall live.
I ask these and all things through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: reflect on "believe in your heart"; a symbol for the core of your being; a fundamental orientation of one’s life and one’s actions; in prayer ask for the grace of a strong faith in Jesus, one that is reflected in my very being and in my actions.

Tomorrow's reading: Rv 22.1-7
