Lectio: Rv 14.1-3, 4b-5

Meditatio: "They have been ransomed as the first fruits of the human race for God and the Lamb." Rv 14.4b

Oratio: "O God, You desire our return to You for You created us to be with You forever.

I remember Your evangelist, John, made this clear when he declared that the 144,000 were the FIRST FRUITS of the human race for You and Your Son.
Grant that I may always respond to Your graces so as to be numbered among the great multitude who return to You.
I ask these and all things through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: reflect on "144,000"; it is not a body count; it is a biblical number which stands for fullness In prayer thank Jesus for raising us up after our death by the grace of His death and ask for grace to accept Jesus’ redemptive act by living a life of selfless love.
