11.20.12

Lectio: Rv 4.1-11
Meditatio: "Day and night they do not stop exclaiming:

‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,

Who was, and who is, and who is to come’." Rev 4.8b

Oratio: "O God, You are eternal, the source of all being and You deserve all praise.

I remember John declared that in heaven the elect constantly praise You for Your holiness and that You are an eternal God.
Grant that I may be ever grateful to You for all You have done for us and always remember to give You thanks and praise for Your goodness.
I ask these and all things through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: reflect on "eternal"; no beginning, no end; uncaused cause; in prayer thank God for all that He has done for us, is doing for us and will do for us; for without Him we can do nothing  andare nothing.

Tomorrow's reading: Rv 5.1-10
