Lectio - Mt 14.13-21
Meditatio: “When he (Jesus) disembarked and saw the vast crowd, his heart was moved with pity for them, and he cured their sick.” Mt 14.14
Oratio: "O God, You are not just a big picture God, but You are mindful and are concerned for us as individuals.
I remember Jesus saw a vast crowd that had followed Him on foot around Lake Galilee and His heart was moved with pity and He cured the sick among them.
Grant that I may turn to You with confidence and seek from You my needs and the needs of those who ask me to pray for them, knowing You do care for us.
I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen.”
Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.
Operatio: Today, I will reflect on my prayer life and see if I pray with confidence tht God hears and will answer me because He loves all of us in a wonderful and personal way. If not, I will renew my trust in God’s Divine Providence and bring that trust whenever I turn to God for help.
