Lectio - Mt 20.1-16

Meditatio: “Am I not free to do as I wish with my money? Are you envious because I am generous?” Mt 20.15

Oratio: "O God, Your ways so surpass our ways in most wonderful ways.

I remember Jesus likened Your generosity to a landowner who gave the same wage to all the hired workers regardless of the time they worked for You know we all need the same reward - Your kingdom.

Grant that I may be ever grateful for the generous ways in which You deal with us.

I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen.”

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Today, I will reflect on whether I am envious of others and be grateful to God for His generosity to me.

Tomorrow’s reading - Mt 22.1-14
