Lectio - Mt 25.14-30
Meditatio: “To the one, he gave five talents; to another, two; and to a third, one; each according to his ability.” Mt 25.15
Oratio: "O God, You give all of us talents and You expect us to use them.
I remember Jesus told a parable about talents and that the one who did not use his, was put out of the kingdom.
Grant that I may use the talents You give me for Your greater honor and glory and for my eternal well-being.
I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen.”
Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.
Operatio: Today, I will take an inventory of my talents and see if I am using all of them. If not, begin to use the buried ones not with fear but with the ability that I have and thus give praise and honor to generous and loving God.
