Lectio - Mt 18.21-19.1
Meditatio: “So will my heavenly Father do to you unless each of you forgives his brother from his heart.” Mt 18.35
Oratio: "O God, Your mercy is without limit but it is conditional on reciprocity on our part.
I remember Jesus told us we must forgive others from our heart I f we expect You to forgive us.
Grant that I may always show mercy towards other without counting the number of times I extend it.
I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen.”
Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.
Operatio: Today, I will reflect to determine if there is someone who hurt me whom I have not forgiven from my heart. If so, seek God’s grace to extend heartfelt forgiveness e to them.

Meditatio: “He [Jesus] said to the, ‘Because of your hardness of heart, Moses allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so’.” Mt 19.8
Oratio: "O God, You want married couples to commit themselves in love as You have committed Yourself to us.
I remember Jesus made it clear that divorce was not Your way but a lasting commitment of mutual love is Your will.
Grant that I may see in married couples that are part of my life a love that reflects Your love for us.
I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen.”

Operatio: Today, I will reflect on the love of those married couples who impact on my life and respect and rejoice in their unconditional love for each other knowing that I am being gifted through their love with a clear sign of Your love for me.
