Lectio - Lk 12.32-48

Meditatio: “Do not be afraid any longer, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom.” Lk 12. 32

Oratio: "O God, You do not want us to live in fear - yet so many things worries us and causes us anxieties.

I remember Jesus told his disciples not to fear for we are Your little flock and You have given us the remedy for all our fears and worries - Your kingdom.

Grant that in the face of my worries and anxious moments that I may always turn them over to You in faith knowing that You do not want us to live in fear.

I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen.”

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Today, I will reflect on my nagging worries and anxieties and with faith let them go and turn them over to the Lord for He has the last remedy for all for whom I may worry or be anxious - His kingdom - and that is best I could hope for any of my love ones.

Tomorrow’s reading - Mt 17.22-27
