Lectio - Mt 17.14-20

Meditatio: “He said to them, ‘Because of your little faith! Amen, I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and if will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Mt 17.20

Oratio: "O God, faith is so hard for us and You require so little on our part.

I remember Jesus told his disciples that if they had faith the size of a mustard seed (the tiniest of seeds) nothing would be impossible for them.

Grant me a faith the size of this seed so that I Your name I will be able to move mountains to advance Your kingdom here on earth.

I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen.”

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Today, I will examine my faith as to its foundation and strength and pray for an increase in it.

Tomorrow’s reading - Lk 12. 32-48
