Lectio - Mt 18.15-20

Meditatio: “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Mt 18.20

Oratio: "O God, You satisfy our deepest longings even while we are here on earth.

I remember Jesus told his disciples that where two or more are gathered in His name, He would be in there midst - how awesome for us to be privileged with His presence and what assurance it gives us that You, our God, is listening to us.

Grant that I may always take advantage of being in Your Son’s presence through communal prayer.

I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen.”

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Today, I will reflect on my belief that Jesus is present whenever I pray with others and do I act that way? If not, resolve to let this great mystery seep into the core of my being for it is an awesome truth.
