9.22.15

Lectio   Lk 9.1-6                 

Meditatio: "He summoned the Twelve and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.  Lk 9.12
                                      
Oratio: O God,  Your Son was always on the needs of others and He sent His Apostles to prolclim the Good News and to heal.  Pray that I may be an instrument that Jesus uses to spread His message and to help the needy.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with.  You.
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
 
Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what  God is  saying to you.

Operatio: reflect: “twelve...gave....power...proclaim...and...heal”; Jesus used His friends to expand His efforts of proclaiming the Kingdom and they were effective.  Seek the grace to do what you are able and especially spread the Good News by the way you live your life and Jesus will be pleased.
