Lectio: Mt 16.12-23

“He [Jesus] said to them [Disciple], ‘But who do you say that I am’?” Mt 16.15

O God, You guide us and You want a response from us.

I remember Jesus asked His disciples: “Who do you say I am?” And we, too, must answer that question and live our answer.

Grant that I may always answer, ‘My Lord, and My God’ and love as Jesus taught.

I ask this of You who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen.

Operatio: Reflect on “Messiah”- The Son of the Living God - let the thought “redeemer” and “God” sink in and then ponder them. God sent His son to become one of us to bring us back to Him. In prayer thank God for giving us Jesus as our brother.
