12.01.14

Lectio:  :Lk 10.21-24

Meditatio: "Turning to his disciples in private he said, ‘Blessed are the eyes that see what you see’.” Lk 10.23

Oratio: O God, at times You are so gracious to us!

I remember many longed to see the Messiah including kings, priests and prophets but it was to ordinary people, fishermen, that the Messiah was revealed and they indeed were blest. In prayer seek to recognize Jesus incarnate in those whose lives we touch.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what
God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect: "Blessed....see... you see”; Jesus declared His disciples blessed because they saw more than a human being and a good person, for they saw the Messiah. Seek the grace to see with the eyes of faith those who have been sent with prophetic messages so that the way to eternal life will be known and attainable.

Tomorrow's reading:Mt 16.15-20
