12.04.14

Lectio:    Mt 9.27-31

Meditatio: "When he entered the house, the blind men approached him and Jesus said to them, ‘Do you believe that I can do this?  “Yes, Lord”, they said to him.” Mt 9.28

Oratio: O God, what graces You give to those who believe!

I remember two blind men cried out to Your Son to have pity on them. And then He asked them directly if they believed He could give them their sight and they replied in the affirmative.  He then  gave them their sight. In prayer seek the gift of a strong faith so that I may always put my total trust in Jesus and forever bask in His light.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what
God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect: "blind...believe...do....Yes:”;   faith of the two blind men who had to rely on what they heard for their faith believed. Because they believed Jesus, gave them their sight. Seek the grace to share the light of Christ  we received with others so that they may see in the light of Christ and overcome their spiritual blindness.

Tomorrow's reading: Mt 9.35-10.1, 5a, 6-8
