 Lectio: Mt 1.18-25

 Meditatio: "This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about.  When his mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph but before they lived together, she was found with child through the Holy Spirit." Mt 1.18

 Oratio: O God, what a marvelous way Your Son broke of into our history!

 I remember Mary was found with child through the Holy Spirit - a miraculous conception but not the Immaculate Conception - rather the mystery of the Incarnation. May I always rejoice in Jesus' coming and be ever grateful for Hus coming which provided the Way back to the Father.

 I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
 and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

 Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what
 God is saying to you.

 Operatio: reflect:"how...birth...Jesus...Mary...Holy Spirit"; God provided for the way for Hus Son to break into our history and become one of us so we could be God's children. Seek the grace to live in accord with the divine ways for that is how we have been wonderfully reborn through Baptism.
