Lectio:    Lk 1.26-38

Meditatio “And coming to her, he said, ‘Hail, favored one! The lord is with you’.” Lk 1.28

Oratio: O God, all that You give to us is pure gift - we cannot earn it.

I remember Mary was conceived without original sin, a sin that all receive by virtue of their nature, because God wanted the mother of His Son to be pure and spotless free from sin from the first moment life begana, In prayer seek God’s favor to live a life that conforms to Gospel values and He will give you that favor for such living is what He wants from all.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what
God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect: "favored.....Lord... with you”; Mary was highly favored by God when she was conceived free of original sin. As a result, Mary freed from the debilitating effects of original sin was able to remain sinless all of her life. Seek the grace to live a holy and blameless life in imitating of Mary our Mother and you can count on for her strong support.

Tomorrow's reading: Mt 18.12-14
