 Lectio    Jn 14.21-26                                                                           

 Meditatio: "Whoever has my commandments and observes them is the one, who loves me.” Jn14.21a

Oratio: O God, You gave us Your Son as our savior and brother.                             

 I remember Jesus told us how we are to show our love to Him by keeping His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome for they are all summed up in the Great Law of Love . In prayer seek to love God with our whole heart, soul and strength and our neighbors as ourselves and we will love Jesus as He wants and as we ought.                        

 I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
 and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

 Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what God is saying to you.

 Operatio: reflect: "commandments...observes....loves me”; Jesus gave us a simple formula to remember so we would know how to  give Him our love. Seek the grace to love in all endeavors whether at home, at work or at prayer and we will show our love for Jesus, our brother and our Lord and our Savior.                                                       .
