5.30.15

Lectio:  Mt 28.16-20

Meditatio: "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” Mt 28.19-20a

Oratio: O God, Your Son commanded His disciples to spread the Good News.

I remember He gave them a command to do so right before He ascended back to You. They would go out to the whole world to extend the greatest blessing - adoption of all who believe as Your children through Baptism.  Pray to live as good child allowing the rule of Love to be  your guiding principle;  and the Good News will be the greatest of Good News for you now and forever.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect: “Go....all nations...baptizing....teaching...observe all”; the message of salvation through Jesus Christ continues to be the message which all believers must proclaim. Seek the grace to do so by the life you live, i.e., preach love by being a person of love- and Jesus will be pleased with you.

Tomorrow's reading: Mk 12.1-12
